Let Your Light Shine-Happy Fall!
by Footprints Ministry, Inc. on

We had a great night stuffing pumpkin prayer cups full of candy for the parents in the NICU at Huntsville Hospital! All of our volunteers brought lots of candy so we had plenty left over to share with our wonderful nurses!  We have an amazing group of volunteers that is just growing by leaps and bounds!

We also had Footprints' first NICU parents' pizza night! We held it prior to the night time visitation. It was so nice to meet with so many families. They were so grateful for the pizza! When your baby is in the NICU the last thing you want to think about is dinner so this worked out great for the NICU families!

It truly is a blessing to do these special things for our NICU parents. We pray that they will see the love of Christ shine through us!

August Staff Appreciation
by Footprints Huntsville on

The volunteers had a wonderful time together in July and August showing some love to the families of "our" precious babies and to the ones who take such diligent care of them while they are so sick.  Our volunteer base is growing by leaps and bounds and we couldn't be more excited.  We are always accepting donations for the bags.  We have people who are busy, as I type, getting goodies ready for both our October and December bags. In July, we were able to prepare and deliver 60 bags to the families of the NICU here in Huntsville!!  What a tremendous blessing it was to us to be able to do that!  God continues to bless us is so many ways, and by doing so, we are able to spread that blessing to so many others who need it.  Coming up next on our blog, we will have some comments from the volunteers and staff about the Footprints program here in Huntsville.  So be sure to stay tuned to that!

For the staff, we were able to fill 5+ baskets with goodies just as a very small thank you for all that they do.  I personally heard that it was a huge hit!  I am so glad because words will never be enough for how they allow God to work through them for the families and their babies!  Please continue to pray for the work here as we try to bring God's peace and comfort to those in time of  need.
